The Books of Esther and Jerry Hicks

The now famous pair of Esther and Jerry Hicks who disseminate the words of Abraham, a group of nonphysical teachers, began way back in 1985 when Esther, fearfully at first, began to channel Abraham.

At first the couple shared their discovery and insight with a few chosen friends, but as word spread about Esther's amazing talent, the Hicks began to do small workshops to deliver the message of joy and well being that Abraham was delivering.

The couple now give workshops all over the North America, arriving at each destination with their "Rock Star" bus.

Once the flow of Abraham's words progressed from the initial spelling out words using Esther's nose, to typing on the typewriter to directly through Esther, Jerry began the process of recording everything Abraham said. He often participated in the session by asking a series of questions which often became the basis for a book.

I love the Teachings of Abraham due to the simplicity of the message, and the practical gradient approach to improving your condition through the methods suggested by Abraham.

The message is uplifting and inspirational.

Here are a couple of the Teachings of Abraham:

  • You are here in this body because you choose to experience this life and its contrasts. You have the freedom to choose whatever you wish.
  • The Universe adores you for it knows your broadest intentions. All is well.

 A Quote from Abraham:

If we were standing in your physical shoes, that would be our dominant quest: Entertaining Yourself, pleasing Yourself, connecting with Yourself, being Yourself, enjoying Yourself, loving Yourself. Some say, "Well, Abraham you teach selfishness. And we say, yes we do, yes we do, yes we do, because unless you are selfish enough to reach for that connection, you don't have anything to give anyone, anyway. And when you are selfish enough to make that connection -- you have an enormous gift that you give everywhere you are.
